Love Changes Everything <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The way God loves is\n set apart from any other kind of love, and this is important to \nunderstand the love God has for us and how this transforms lives. In \nthis word study, we will be analyzing the different words for \u201clove\u201d in \nthe Greek language. We will be seeking to define and look at the \nindividual usage of the words \u03b5\u03c1\u03c9\u03c2, \u1f04\u03c3\u03c4\u03bf\u03c1\u03b3\u03bf\u03c2, \u03c6\u03b9\u03bb\u03ad\u03c9, and \u1f00\u03b3\u03ac\u03c0\u03b7. Using multiple different Greek dictionaries as well as examples from the Bible (NASB), we are able to make conclusions about the meaning of the words. Specifically, we will examine and discuss the difference between \u1f00\u03b3\u03ac\u03c0\u03b7 and \u03c6\u03b9\u03bb\u03ad\u03c9, the two most common words for love in the scriptures. By the context in which words are used, we are able to\n understand what they mean, and their significance. It\u2019s important to \nunderstand the different meanings because the word itself and the action\n of love can be expressed in a multitude of different ways. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
