Battling Injury: Preparing for the Eugene Half Marathon<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In preparation for the Eugene Half Marathon, I took the Jogging course. During spring break, I decided to run a half marathon to see what it would feel like. This mistake ultimately led to me injuring my IT Band three weeks away from the day of the race. This presentation will discuss what the training process for a half marathon looks like, including diet and exercise routine, and the consequences of training too hard too fast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
