Ephrem the Syrian<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This presentation attempts to examine a lesser-known historical figure that was important in influencing early christianity. In my presentation, we will look at Ephrem the Syrian and his influence on hymnography and development of early christianity. Through studying primary sources, we should gain a better understanding of how his early hymns were developed and use Ephrem\u2019s background to combat the myth that Christianity was a product of Western Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
