Suffering in Catholic Literature<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Power and the Glory by Graham Greene and \u201cRevelation\u201d by Flannery O\u2019Connor are known for their depictions of suffering and grace. In examining these texts, we can see the ways that suffering might be considered a grace that ultimately leads to redemption. This aligns with Biblical passages such as 1 Peter 4 and Hebrews 2. When reading these works of literature alongside scripture, we can begin to answer big questions such as, \u201cWhy is there suffering in the world?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
