The United States Involvement in Chile: the Undermining of Salvador Allende<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the 1970s, Chile democratically elected a socialist leader. However, outside sources, i.e. the United States, did not like the outcome of the election and did everything in their power to overthrow Salvador Allende. The purpose is to show how involved the U.S. truly was in the overthrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
