In an age of advanced technology, businesses across the globe are changing the way they interact with other business partners. Manufacturers and retailers alike are becoming more interdependent upon each other\u2019s success than ever before. Looking at Wal-Mart, one of the largest and most profitable retailers in the United States, a prime example of changes in the supply chain model can be found. Their new project, Retail Link, is their most recent advancement towards completely integrating all members of the supply chain with accurate and up-to-date information. This vast project will ultimately help define future supply chain models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
