Under the Sea Picture Book<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is about a 5th grade class that I taught this year. The students had to research a sea creature of their choice and write a realistic fiction story based on their creature. They were given a pre-assessment before the unit and then a post-assessment once the unit was taught. They were graded on the same rubric both times. The students’ growth from the pre and post assessment is noticable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
