When faced with stress, many people turn to behaviors that can actually be more detrimental, rather than beneficial to their mental and physical wellbeing. There are positive ways to manage stress. One behavior that has been shown to have a positive impact on stress is exercise. Research has shown that even small amounts of exercise can have a positive effect on mental and physical health.
