The first portion of the speech deals with what it has been like living with a brother who has Down Syndrome. This is a clear example of someone who is permanently disabled. The terms \u2018social\u2019 and \u2018medical\u2019 definition of a disability will be drawn into perspective; and the term \u2018temporarily abled\u2019 will be defined. The second portion of the speech will focus on the ongoing difficulties of dealing with a dad who suffered from a severe stroke. A heavy emphasis will be placed on what it looks like for someone who was a temporarily abled individual to now becoming disabled. The final portion of the speech will be focused on my thoughts, and the audience\u2019s mindset. This final segment will be a call to action, and a re-assessment of one\u2019s thoughts.
