{"id":579,"date":"2018-04-29T22:07:40","date_gmt":"2018-04-29T22:07:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/aceday.bushnell.edu\/?p=579"},"modified":"2025-05-14T21:43:17","modified_gmt":"2025-05-14T21:43:17","slug":"nathan-blaney","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aceday.bushnell.edu\/?p=579","title":{"rendered":"Nathan Blaney"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enhancing Computing with Biologically Inspired Design<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Computers as an integral part of the modern world are continuously being improved upon, and yet there is still a lot of space for advancement. With the impending end of Moore\u2019s Law and the limits to how small components can be made, new computer designs and engineering models are needed to make further progress.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One area of inspiration that researchers and engineers have been turning to is that of the biological world.
