The six short works I have chosen are representative of the \nthree schools I have attended and will be read in conversation with the \nreflective paper I have written about the wonderful \u2013 and often intense,\n insane, barely endurable \u2013 journey I have been on for the last ten \nyears. I will begin with two poems that were well-received but, \nultimately, not chosen for advancement in regional writing competitions \nthrough Lane Community College; I will proceed with one short story and \none poem written during my time at the University of Oregon; and I will \nend with another short story and poem that were penned here at NCU. The \npieces will, ultimately, speak for themselves.
