The Mathematics of Dance
There are many things to learn about mathematics. It is amazing to see what we can learn about mathematics through the art of dance. This presentation (paper) looks at symmetries and group theory through the lense of a choreographer and dancer.

Dance, Faith, & Grade Point Average
Dancers are pushed to experience multiple disciplines. At Hosanna Dance Studio a great deal of the higher dancers (age 12-18) are taking every possible class in their level. Curious about how this affects their academic performance, this study began as an attempt to show the positive correlation between the number of dance classes an individual takes and their GPA. Because Hosanna is a Christian dance studio there is a level of church participation that needed to be included in the study. A survey was conducted to assess the overall time spent with schoolwork, dance, and church related activities.
