Are You Smarter than a 6th Grader?

An assessment of materials taught this year. Focus on the evaluation of 3 students’ progress in the span of one chapter, eleven lessons, & four learning targets. These 6th grade students learn how to calculate a part of another part, a.k.a. fraction-sense; discover how to multiply fractions, mixed numbers, & decimals; find the area of shapes, including rectangles, triangles, parallelograms, & trapezoids; & break complex shapes into smaller pieces to find area. Let’s see if you can do any better…
