Vaseline, Warmth Lotion

Many people like to apply lotion to their skin because they like to have smooth skin. In our group project, we came up with a Vaseline lotion that feels warm and more comfortable when applied. Regular lotion doesn’t do that. It is cold when you use it and sometimes doesn’t feel comfortable. The main idea for our product is to make people feel more comfortable with their skin while using the lotion. Since it keeps the skin warm, it may also be helpful to the homeless who are out in the cold. It will keep them warm and fresh. We will be setting up our booth with various poster boards to physically show and explain our product. Also we will be hooking up our computer with a large TV or monitor to show a short video on how we advertise the product.

Livestrong Foundation

My Ace day presentation is going to be on the Livestrong foundation. The Livestrong foundation was created since 1997. Their goal is to help cancer survivors and their loved ones. They have created resources to help relieve the challenges of a cancer diagnosis. They have many programs to help every patient they have. I will be talking about their Form 990. A Form 990 is used by non-profit organizations to file taxes with the Federal Government. Livestrong’s Form 990 available online is from the year 2013. In the year 2013, Livestrong collected a total of $23,333,007 for their total revenue. The prior year they collected 38,210,018. This project is going to be talking about how the foundation did and if it is a good a place to donate.

Shots All Around

There are two aspects to perfect when playing the game of basketball; these two aspects are offense and defense. In our project we will be focusing on offense and more specifically the shooting percentage from the three-point line, the free throw line and overall shooting percentage from the field. Statistics have long been a part of the game of basketball and more specifically the NBA. The current study took 5 of the top teams from each the Western Conference and the Eastern Conference to compare shooting percentage and to see if there is a direct correlation to winning games. Comparing the shooting percentages of teams will allow us to see if a high shooting percentage is vital to winning games or are other aspects of the game such as defense.
